I love it when a few ingredients can elevate the simplest of dishes from mundane to fantastic. Such is the case with the recipe for Maple Ginger Acorn Squash. Stir a bit of maple syrup and fresh ginger into melted butter, then brush it over the squash before roasting. The result is bright, complex and intriguing, a dish worthy of the Thanksgiving table but simple enough to serve on any other Thursday night.
