Ingredients:
- 1/2 gallon apple cider
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 navel or Valencia orange, halved and sliced
- Cinnamon sticks, for garnish
Preparation:
Pour apple cider into a 2-quart slow cooker crock. Stir in cinnamon, ginger and cloves. Float orange slices on top. Turn slow cooker to high until cider becomes steaming hot. Let simmer for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to Low or Keep Warm settings. Serve in mugs with a cinnamon stick.
