A stovetop smoker delivers amazing flavor with very little effort. And salmon is a particularly effective food to cook in a stovetop smoker; after 20 minutes in the smoker, the salmon is buttery-tender, and takes on a rich, subtly smoky flavor. Alder is a classic wood chip pairing, but you can use your favorite type of wood chips to make this smoked salmon recipe. The teriyaki sauce adds a sweet glaze to the salmon. I particularly like the TonTon Teriyaki Sauce from Argo Century, because it's not as syrupy and sweet as other teriyaki sauces on the market.
